3rd Year♪

Hello

Yesterday was my first lesson of my 3rd academic year in JCS. And i was super early for class!!! So early that the school wasn't open yet. Haha. Unlike my 1st and 2nd year - i was late. Hehe.

Still closed~

Well, in a new class, having a new sensei and new classmates, somehow, i felt weird. I have no idea how to explain that feeling though.. It's been awhile since i last have this feeling. Maybe it's just that there are soooo many unfamiliar faces. Fortunately, i have my friend with me. Otherwise the feeling will be worst.

Anyway, it's just the first lesson and i already felt stressful I wonder if it's because my ability to absorb information is slow or i'm used to kai sensei's teaching (after all, she taught me for 2 years). Whatever reason it is, i really need to work hard!!!

From now on, i'll be blogging in Japanese more often. I tried having separate blogs though but it failed. I ended up neglecting it

It's a brand new year and the first group of people i saw is my high school clique It's actually our first time counting down together. Nevertheless, it's really fun We went to a countdown event near my house. Same as last year, there's fireworks too~

Spent the first day of the year shopping with my family at NEX. For the first time, mommy bought more clothes than me! Haha After that, we had dinner at Dian Xiao Er

I realized i haven't been blogging for a long time. Shall blog a little while my video is rendering. Hehe.

Okie. Good news for me. Last week i received my Japanese final test results! Hooray!! I passed!! I do have a little mixed feelings though. I wanted to score better and make kai sensei proud. However, based on the amount of time i spent on studying, by right i should have flunk them already Oh well, at least i managed to proceed on~ Haha.

I remembered during my oral exam, the topic is about movie. The last question the teacher asked is what movie i'd watched recently and i said "Ashita no Joe" (it's not recent but it was the last movie i watched at that time). I have no idea why but i had the urge to comment that i love it, and i really did! LOL. After that i was worried that they will minus mark because of the extra comment Thanks goodness it's alright or at least it didn't affect my marks badly. Haha

Now i really hope that my friends score well too. They re-schedule their final test so they will receive theirs later. *anxious*

For the past few days, it's extremely horrible. Numerous mistakes were made and there are lots of things to do. Worst of all, my dearest laptop died on me yesterday Sigh..

Last week was my last Japanese lesson at JCS for my intermediate year. It's also my final lesson with my favourite teacher, kai sensei It's really sad that she aren't going to continue teaching in Singapore. Being taught by her 2 years in a row, i felt really lucky. She's nice and hilarious, and i like her teaching method. Felt worst when she say this to my friend, "You're always the loudest in my class. Whenever we need to read, definitely can hear your voice". Somehow, it feels like her farewell (告别) words..

Anyway, for the happier part of that day, it's also her birthday!!! My friends and i bought Royce' chocolates for her and gave her a birthday card (with an illustration done by me on the envelope hehe). Super glad that she like them. Her expression when we gave her the present, was like a child! That's my really cute sensei. Haha~

Today is 11 november! 11.11.2011. A really special day~ Why?

Firstly, it's the birthday of the cutest member of NEWS, Tegoshi!!

お誕生日おめでとう！！！

Next, today is also 光棍节 (guang gun jie) aka Singles' Day! I don't think i need to explain what it's about right? Haha. Actually, i didn't know about this day until recently when i was at weibo. Kept seeing "光棍节", so i went to google it.

Talk about single, I'd been single for... Hmm.. 5 years already. When i think about it, time really flies huh. One thing to say, it's not that bad being single. Although once in awhile i do want someone to stay by my side during happy or sad moments. However, i'm still happy with my current status Hooray to being single!!~

Anyway, i bought a small cake to celebrate this day too! I even bought one for my sis. Muahahaha~

Uwahhhhh. My 1st SIP project is starting tomorrow! Kind of nervous. Hope the filming will go smoothly for the next 2 - 3 days

Anyway, sis came back from Taiwan not long ago and brought back lots of goodies~ Every time she went overseas, she'll end up buying lots of stuff for me *guilty* The sweet treats she brought back are yummy too. Hehe. Thank you jiejie~

And you know what? She also passed by the Hello Kitty cafe!!! Awww... If i ever got the opportunity to travel to Taiwan, i'll definitely visit the cafe!! It's really a must!

My current favourite song, 替我 (For me) sang by 汪东城 (Jiro Wang). It's the theme song for his first movie, 紫宅 (The purple house). It's a pretty sad song. Listening to it made me feel like crying

Hello~

I started my SIP (student internship programme) this week. My supervisor, assistant manager and the other staff are really friendly and nice As for the job, i haven't start on my actual project yet. Currently doing administration work lol. It's alright though. I learnt something new

However, it's not all that awesome. The horrible thing is the other guy who's also an intern from the same course. It's just two days and i can't tolerate him any longer It's probably a personal thing, i detest him long ago. Wtf. And he did something yesterday which made me feel like screaming at him. Unfortunately, i can't because it will be bad to create a big fuss during SIP Sigh. I think i need to work with him from next week onwards. Pray hard that i don't need to.

Hope this 3 months+ will go smoothly and end quickly. Lol. And i'm extremely glad to have a great supervisor

First time trying out this design. It turned out pretty nice and is really easy to do. I simply love it The only thing that i'm disappointed with is the color. It's too light. I think that's just my nail polishes' problem lol.

Initially i planned on blogging on my recent shopping hauls. However, something upsets me and i really want to rant about it..

It's a rather long post so you can just ignore this.

So recently, there's this news about yamapi and ryo withdrawing from NEWS. Yamapi will be going for his solo career while ryo will focus on kanjani8.

Many NEWS fans commented that they had seen this coming but not me. Maybe I'm just not aware about things and let their hiatus be like "when the time is right, they will be back". When this news came out of nowhere, I was shocked and upset. However, what hurts me even more is that fans kept blaming and naming both of them (especially yamapi) as traitors. I admit that I'm biased towards yamapi that's why I got so upset. When others are bashing your idol, it's just so heart-breaking... They said stuff like "I don't want to see their faces again." "I won't support them/him" etc etc..

To be honest, I was mad when I read about this news. My first thought was, "Yamapi, how could you do this? Your decision is really selfish". However, when I calmed down a little, I started to respect his decision and try to be understanding. I believe that he had a tough time making this decision. He isn't a heartless jerk like what most people think/said. Furthermore, we only know the surface, not the whole story nor their thinking when the decision was made. What had happened during the hiatus? What if they made this decision because they got no choice? Because if they continue, they might slow down NEWS's activities? Unfortunately, we know nothing. I believe that there are still truth left untold. Back to yamapi's case, is it really bad that he want to focus on his dream?

Lastly, I really hope that some fans will at least try to understand and respect their decision. I'm grateful to those who did. And I know that if yamapi can't keep his promise, he shouldn't even make one.. However, he's a human too for goodness sake. Breaking a promise can't be helped sometimes.. As much said, despite these changes, I will still support NEWS and yamapi. (sorry but I'm not a fan of kanjani8 =/) It will definitely be weird to listen and see 4 members NEWS but I'm sure we'll get used to it as time goes by. Another thing is that we should at least be glad that NEWS is still there (:

p.s. Actually, I prefer yamapi to stay with NEWS because he seems happier and more lively. Going solo feels so lonely to me.. But since this is what he wanted, I'll accept it (:

(I know that this whole post is more about yamapi. As i said, i'm biased towards him. However, that's not all. Majority of fans are mad at him and not ryo because they understand that ryo is having a tough time when he was in 2 groups.)

Went to visit my high school with vincent this afternoon, and meet up with wilson and kenneth in school. It's actually an impromptu thing. & gosh. I miss my high school so much!! Although i had a nice time, it's still sad that i couldn't went back together with my whole clique..

Anyway, went to collect my class photos from my co-form teacher. LOL~ It's almost 3 years after i'd graduated. Only recently i heard that my form teacher found the remaining of the class photos. Hahaha~~

Oh and a few days ago, sis bought strawberry shortcakes~ Wheeeee I just love strawberry shortcake (as much as chocolate cakes) Hehe.

Hey!!~

Have been staying at home these few days. Pretty boring i must say. Then again, it's better than stressing over school stuff And i'm so sad.. Totally regretted not going to seiransai just now I missed out all the fun

Anyway, just want to do some updates.

First off, i passed my JLPT N4 exam!!! Yay! To be honest, i barely pass it though and was having mixed feeling.. I'm happy since initially i thought i might fail. However, after some thinking, i realized that my result is pretty disappointing During my Japanese lesson, my friend told me that the percentage of passes for JLPT N4 (outside Japan) is only 37.5%! Definitely a shocking information for me. Click here if you want to know the rest.

Next, my mommy's friend came to our house on friday. Took this "opportunity" to try cooking something new. Neither mommy nor me cooked ebi fry before. Wanted to follow the recipe from the Japanese show "26hours/day" but it failed. We fried it instead of baking it, you see. So, we adjust the recipe a little. It turned out not bad. However, by the time we ate it for dinner, it wasn't that nice since it's cold already

Yesterday, i found an interesting youtuber, PDSKabushikiGaisha, to kill my boredom. I spent hours watching his videos. Yes, hours. Finally gonna update about natsu matsuri, aka summer festival, which happened on last saturday.

Charissa came over to my house in the afternoon to get ready. Afterwards, we cabbed down to the Japanese primary school. Don't expect us to wear the yukata and take public transport. While waiting for our cab, we already received weird stares from others It will be worst if we took a bus instead. Oh yah, i must mentioned that i have a super supportive parents!!

This time round, i didn't spend much there. However, i did went to play the yoyo-balloon fishing. Anyway, thanks to Charissa's friend, Jennifer, we had a nice spot to chill and watch the performances. We even went to dance bon odori after that! One word to describe it - FUN!! I regretted not tying my hair though. Because of my perspiration and the hairspray, my hair became rather messy

Before we left, had a little chat with Jennifer's company manager and colleague (p.s. they are Japanese!). And because of that chat, i realized how horrible my Japanese is. I really need to buck up!!

After i bought the hairclip, i realized that it doesn't really match with my yukata and slipper.
So i did a little adjustment - coloring the outer part of the flower petals (inspired by my slipper)

Overall, i really enjoyed myself. It will be better if more people whom i knew went too though. More the merrier, isn't it? Hehe.

Haven't been blogging for awhile. My bad.. However, there's nothing interesting recently Everyday is school, school and school. Only meet up with my friend once, for dinner.

Anyway, tomorrow is natsu matsuri!! Yay~ The day has finally come. Super excited to wear my new yukata. Hehe~ Alright. Let me do a check list.. In case i missed out any, i still can get it tomorrow.

Wheee~ It's August!! I know it's a couple of days late to say it but who cares. Haha.

Wahh... Natsu matsuri is less than a month away~ Super excited!!! Gonna wear the yukata, which is a once a year thing for me. Recently i was practising to wear the yukata for my cca event - yukata wearing session.

Woots! I successfully managed to wear the yukata on my own. It's my first try by the way. Hehe. But don't misunderstood. It's not the first time i tie the yukata. I paired up with another person (actually, i think it's always with gracia xD) to wear the yukata on someone else before. However, i still need a lot of practices to tie the obi. Geez... It's difficult to tie a nice ribbon

Hello!!

A couple of days back, i kept seeing images and MV of PONPONPON, by Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, around the net. It's only yesterday that i finally decided to listen to it.

Wow! I got addicted to this song straight away! The MV might be a little weird (or rather, random) but at the same time, very cute~ And i find the song really catchy. Kept repeating it over and over again until my sis got a wee bit irritated. LOL~

Was reading through a joke blog, Joke Diary, and found a pretty interesting post. It feels like true facts but i supposed that it's really a joke.

The next time you are washing your hands and complain because the water temperature isn’t just how you like it, think about how things used to be. Here are some facts about the 1500s:

Most people got married in June because they took their yearly bath in May and still smelled pretty good by the next month. Even so, they were starting to stink, so brides carried a bouquet of flowers to hide the body odor. Hence the custom today of carrying a bouquet when getting married.

Baths consisted of a big tub filled with hot water. The man of the house had the privilege of the nice clean water, then all the other sons and men, then the women and finally the children – last of all the babies. By then the water was so dirty someone could actually get lost in it! Hence the saying, “Don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater.”

Houses had thatched roofs – thick straw piled high, with no wood underneath. It was the only place for animals to get warm, so all the dogs, cats and other small animals (mice, bugs) lived in the roof. When it rained it became slippery and sometimes the animals would slip and fall off the roof. Hence the saying “It’s raining cats and dogs.”

There was nothing to stop things from falling into the house in those days. This posed a real problem in the bedroom, where bugs and other droppings could really mess up a nice clean bed. Hence, a bed with big posts and a sheet hung over the top afforded some protection. That’s how canopy beds came into existence.

The floors were dirt, and only the wealthy had something other than dirt, from which came the saying “dirt poor.” The wealthy had slate floors that would get slippery in the winter when wet, so they spread thresh (straw) on the floor to help keep their footing. As the winter wore on, they kept adding more thresh until when the door was opened it would all start slipping outside. A piece of wood was placed in the entranceway to prevent this, hence the saying a “thresh hold.”

In those old days, they cooked in the kitchen with a big kettle that always hung over the fire. Every day they lit the fire and added things to the pot. They ate mostly vegetables and did not get much meat. They would eat the stew for dinner, leaving leftovers in the pot to get cold overnight and then start over the next day. Sometimes the stew had food in it that had been there for quite a while. Hence the rhyme, “Peas porridge hot, peas porridge cold, peas porridge in the pot nine days old.”

Sometimes they could obtain pork, which made them feel quite special. When visitors came over, they would hang up their bacon to show off. It was a sign of wealth that a man “could bring home the bacon.” They would cut off a little to share with guests and would all sit around and “chew the fat.”

Those with money had plates made of pewter. Food with high acid content caused some of the lead to leach onto the food, causing lead poisoning and death. This happened most often with tomatoes, so for the next 400 years or so, tomatoes were considered poisonous.

Bread was divided according to status. Workers got the burnt bottom of the loaf, the family got the middle, and guests got the top, or “upper crust.”

Lead cups were used to drink ale or whiskey. The combination would sometimes knock people out for a couple of days. Someone walking along the road would take them for dead and prepare them for burial. They were laid out on the kitchen table for a couple of days and the family would gather around and eat and drink and wait and see if they would wake up. Hence the custom of holding a “wake.”

England is old and small and the local folks started running out of places to bury people. So they would dig up coffins and would take the bones to a “bone-house” and reuse the grave. When reopening these coffins, 1 out of 25 coffins were found to have scratch marks on the inside and they realized they had been burying people alive. So they thought they would tie a string on the wrist of the corpse, lead it through the coffin and up through the ground and tie it to a bell. Someone would have to sit out in the graveyard all night (the “graveyard shift”) to listen for the bell; thus, someone could be “saved by the bell” or was considered a “dead ringer.”

Hello

Came home from school not long ago. Felt extremely sick all thanks to the bus ride This really sucks. I need to complete my Japanese homework and i can't think well in this condition...

Anyway, about school.. I'm kind of enjoyed myself while doing MP (major project). Sometimes, i do feel lazy to travel to school due to the weather. However, other than that, it's pretty fun. Do project, slack a lot and joke around with foongting and ain. Hehe. Furthermore, i like the liveliness in the lab (despite causing me to lose focus). It get me into a good mood~

I guess this is great since i'm already in my final year. Need to enjoy school as much as i can Haha.

Hello!

It'd been awhile since i last updated my blog. For-who-knows-what-reason, i've been really tired recently, even though i'd slept more than usual On a brighter note, my school-related stuff seems to be doing good

Anyway, had my JLPT N4 exam last sunday. It's so difficult (but still easier than i'd expected). I must admit that i didn't study much for it though.. Procrastinate waaaaay too much. And when the exam date is getting nearer, i'm rushing for my project However, i'm not the only one who said that. My friends and some prep course classmates said the same thing. Probably because we're not ready for it yet.

After the exam, meet up with my sis to exchange some stuff. At the same time, i went for a little shopping~ Kept buying hello kitty items Haha.

Head back home after that and celebrated mommy's birthday~ Because of mommy's condition, we didn't went out to celebrate like usual. However, it's pretty fun. Mommy's good friend even bought her a birthday cake.

Read kelly's review on Fuwarie hair mist and it seems great so i decided to try it.

Last sunday, attended AKB48 '3rd Stage' theater live with charissa I'm soooo glad that i wore my wedges that day. Otherwise, i can barely see anything during the concert Anyway, it was pretty fun. I wish they will sing "Beginner", my favourite song, too though. Oh well~~

Due to the opening of their new AKB48 Cafe (p.s. It's their first cafe!!!), 16 lucky audiences from each session will get to win an autographed concert t-shirt. And guess what. I'm one of them!! Hehe. Extremely happy because it's really unexpected. I thought i heard/see the number wrongly and even asked charissa to double check my ticket. lol.

Ohh and i almost forgot, they also have a handshake session after the concert with everyone!!~ I think their fans are super lucky~ Talk about AKB48's fans. Throughout the whole concert, their tension are super high. They are really amazing!!

Hello!!

Few days back, i was filming for a project with my groupmates. Unbelievably, we managed to finish our filming that day itself!! I thought it was almost impossible because initially we were running out of time. Had to rush because we have a pre-SIP talk on the same day too! But yah, we succeed! The first part, which is the most worrisome part, is over~ Whoo hoo!!

So, right after we filmed our last scene (which is outside my friend's house), i saw some nice view of the sky~ If only we finished earlier, we can see the sunset too. I really do love sunset a lot Hehe.

Okie. Time for a stress-relieve blogging!

Thinking and worrying about my 3DSFX project 2 is just killing me! Sigh. I really hope that my teacher will extend the dateline. It surely will help us a lot.

Hello!!

Had a blast yesterday! Attended AKB48's concert with charissa~ It's my first time attending a Japanese band's concert *Thank you charissa for the tickets~*

Although i'm not a die-hard fan of theirs, i still enjoyed my time there. In fact, i began to love some of the songs which they had sang in the concert. And it was funny when they they introduce themselves in English. It's not about their pronunciation but some of them wrote their lines on their hands lol. The most awesome thing is that after the concert, there's a special high^5 session with them~ Omg omg~ The girls are really cute and their eyes sparkles!

Bought a pen from their official shop (located at *SCAPE). I love their concert t-shirt a lot! Unfortunately, i didn't buy it because i'm saving up money.. And right now, i really regretted it Hopefully, when i attend their next concert, there's more concert t-shirt. Hehe.

Hello!!

Just a short and pretty random update~~

Haven't been using my computer/laptop for 2 days straight. It's probably nothing to most people but being a computer addict, it's horrible!! There's practically nothing for me to do except for watching tv and sleeping I can't even do my 3DSFX practices because i need a computer!! Anyway, although my computer is still under repair, i'm still glad that at least i got my laptop back last night~ Hehe.

So far, school is probably alright. Only during the first day of school, there's a small conflict between some of us. Shalln't elaborate on that.. Anyway, we only have 2 modules to focus on at the moment. And a good thing is that i really enjoyed one of the module a lot!!

Alright. Shall go and install whatever program i need on my laptop. All the programs i had are gone Oh well..

Hey!! Just a short post before i sleep~

Do you know that Shirota Yuu is having a solo singing debut? If you don't know him, he acted as Makoto Kagurazaka in Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (that's where i know his existence). He is also dearest yamapi's close buddy

Anyway, i knew this quite some time ago but only yesterday that i heard the full version of the songs. I also just knew that avex has an official youtube account!! I hope JE has one too. lol~~

Hey!!!

Had lots of fun last week~♪

Meet up with my sis and god-brother for dinner on monday. Been quite awhile since both my sis and i had a good chat with him. He just came back from his holiday trip to Thailand and bought the both of us a watch each. Coincidentally, my watch matches with my nails!

On thursday, meet up with a few DA people~ It's kind of like a guild outing since majority of us are in the same guild. The best thing is that, one of my friends came along too!! After our meal, we wanted to go to the lan shop to play CS (more like they wanted to do so, as expected from gamers hehe). Unfortunately, we can't find the lan shop so we played pool instead.

For the first time ever, i tried playing pool! It was a total failure though. I couldn't get any ball in and gave up in the end Oh well.. Shall try my best next time, if there's a chance. I need a very patient person to coach me

Lastly, on friday, went to attend my cousin's wedding. Before that, i had a GM meeting for JCG. Was really glad that i took a cab home instead of the bus because i mixed up the timing! In the end, i had to rush my makeup etc etc.. However, we still left the house later. lol~~ Well, i love it that i can doll up again but i hate to rush. I tend to make a lot mistakes if i rush

During the wedding, me and my siblings were discussing about our future weddings. I told them, if possible, i want to have a hello kitty wedding. I bet the wedding will be cute!!~ Hehe.

Wow. I realized that i haven’t been blogging for a long time and that’s not it. Nowadays i rarely check my twitter, facebook, livejournal and tumblr. Goodness. Gaming has consumed so much of my time! However, it’s fun. So i don’t mind haha~

Watching numerous videos and reading articles about the earthquake, tsunami and explosion of the nuclear plants, and seeing the increase of death toll really scares me a lot. For that, i realized how lucky i am. Living in Singapore for all my life, i didn't experience all these disasters at all.

Right now, i truly hope that this crisis will end soon..

Just now, while searching for nail tutorials for ideas, i found this minnie mouse inspired nail tutorial. It's really cute and seems rather easy to do.

There's also this polka dots nail tutorial which i like. There's an easy trick for you if you have a hard time doing french manicure~

Now, isn't it easy to do french manicure? Haha.

When i just started doing french manicure, i used that method too. However, as time goes by, i'm getting used to doing it freehand

Finally got the chance to blog~ Was rushing my assignments right after the Chinese New Year holiday. Sigh

Me & Fake eyelashes

As promised to kelly, i'm going to show you me with fake eyelashes.

I like it that my eyelashes are long and thick. It makes my eyes looked nicer Well, kind of haha. That's probably why i decided to wear fake eyelashes.

Actually i did wore them before, 2 years back. However, someone helped me to put it on instead. And there's once i tried putting by myself but i kind of failed

Seriously, i wonder how others wear it as though as it's a piece of cake. I really had a tough time. I remembered this tutorial i had watched. The person said to place the center of the fake eyelashes first. After that, wait for awhile and adjust the sides. It's really funny when i tried. I wonder if i'm clumsy or what.. But instead of adjusting them, i took it out instead

Fortunately this time round, it's not that bad. I tried two different ways. The first is without bottom eyelashes while the second one, i had it on. And i'm really sad to say that.. The fake eyelashes can't be seen clearly. Sorry!!

p.s. The fake eyelashes aren't the ones i bought recently.

School just started this week. It's only the 3rd day and i already miss my beauty sleep and holiday. LOL. I'm too used to sleeping extremely late during the holiday, so now my sleeping time is screwed up

Anyway, i dropped by Daiso before heading home today. Has been going to MEIDI-YA pretty often last month and i almost forgot about Daiso. That's horrible of me. Haha. Initially i plan to work at Daiso though. However, after talking to my mother, i guess it's not a good idea..

Hey!!

2011 just started not long ago. How are you feeling right now?

For me, i'm really happy I had a great time with Angie just now Believe it or not, it was the first time i went to countdown with my friend. It's also the first time i saw fireworks around my neighbourhood!! Only knew about it last year but at that time, i didn't go in the end.

Anyway, though the fireworks was pretty short (around 3 minutes), it's still awesome~ Frankly speaking, i'm not soo into fireworks. However, when i see them, i do feel happy. Haha.

Time flies. It's already 2011.

When i think of 2011, i'll think of 二十歳 (hatachi), which means 20 years old. LOL. It's really sad but i've got to accept it. I've really come to this age whereby i need to start acting like an adult. Be more independent, more responsible, and less like a spoilt brat.

Anyway.. This year, i will live my life with this quote in mind:

Wow. 2010 is coming to an end.

There are lots of happenings this year. Good and bad. Lots of tears but also lots of joy and laughters. I had made lots of new friends and also lost a few friends.

This year:

I started learning Japanese seriously
Got to know more Japanese people (mainly online)
Met more like-minded people (YAY JE FANS )
Became a little more independent
Wore color contact lens for the first time (i know this is nothing lol)
Began to love Kbox
Went for holiday trip twice (both are in Malaysia though)
Went for bowling for the first time
Chop off my long hair (^ - ^)v
Got to know more places that sell Japanese stuff

Well, more or less these are the "main" happenings for me. I think i had missed out a few though. My memory is horrible. Haha. Anyway.. In conclusion, i do feel that this year is great.

How's your Christmas?

For me, i had a wonderful Christmas this year We did changed our plan at the last minute though. No more family outing.

So, we ended up having dinner together and had our gift exchange after that Lastly, a movie screening at home~ Didn't watch much of the movie though; was chatting away with my sis and my 6th aunt. Haha.

Had our lunch at Marutama Ramen Can't remember the name of the ramen i'd ordered but it's surprisingly delicious. And because i had a rather heavy breakfast, i couldn't finish it in the end. Aww.. So wasted

After our meal, we went to Bookmart. I find the place really neat. Lots of Japanese mangas, magazines, books, DVDs etc. The staffs are really nice too Really wish that my understanding of Japanese is high. It really sucks that i'm still unable to read lots of things Now i can't wait for intermediate lesson to start~

Head over to Liang Court after that. I remember yesterday, someone from TPJCG said that Liang Court is like a Japanese Heaven. He's so right. Lot's of Japanese-related things and was surrounded by Japanese people. That surely made my day Haha~ Oh and guess what!! I finally found Kirin Namacha!!!! Bought it at MEIDI-YA Super Market I was extremely happy when i saw it. To be honest, i didn't expect to find it but i'm really glad i did

Sigh. Today almost became a horrible day. It totally contradict my previous post.. lol.

Skipped 3DVA lesson for 2 consecutive days. Yesterday, i skipped on purpose because i want to focus on another project. As for today, i totally didn't know about it. Honestly, i thought we only have one lesson, which was yesterday. And nobody told me about it (Yes, it's my responsibility to find out. So i can't blame anyone). Actually.. Before my classmates told me, i didn't even know that we have lesson this week! Think about it. Who will continue the lesson on term test week??? Well.. i don't have any test (as of now, i'm grateful for that) but i got my projects to complete!

Just now, i heard from my classmates that the tutor will be teaching the most important part for the new exercise/assignment tomorrow. (FYI, the exercise/assignment was given yesterday). The worst thing is that all these are due on friday! Wth. This is so last minute.. (← i'm referring to giving the new exercise/assignment this week).

Seriously.. I want to get it over and done with. I want to graduate ASAP. School isn't as fun as it used to be. However, i'm really really glad that i'm in TPJCG. If it wasn't for TPJCG, my poly life will be super duper boring.

Yesterday was an awesome day for me. Lots of happy stuff happened

Firstly, i passed my EIR quiz!! I know that this isn't a big deal but well.. i didn't really study for it. I did read through all the ppt slides but i just couldn't memorize them. I guess it was luck huh

Secondly, i received my 88 Shimmer Makeup Palette!! Bought it from my friend's blog shop. Check it out → Shoppers Avenue

Initially i was hesistant about getting it. I don't use makeup often, except mascara and concealer, so i thought it might be a waste of money. However, i couldn't get over the temptation. Look at all the nice colors~ Thus, i decided to buy it. Furthermore, i'm at the age whereby i should really really doll up myself~ Not for school though, there's no point. Haha!

Thirdly, daddy came home with a surprised package for me It's from dearest Irasema!! Thank you so much~

Belated birthday and advanced Christmas presents

Honestly, a few days ago, i thought of writing a letter to her. And now, i received a package and letter from her! It's like we have telepathy. Haha.

To Irasema: Once again, thank you so much for the lovely presents. It's really good to hear from you again. I'll reply back to you soon

Lastly, i also received a letter from JCS. It's my result for the exam i took in November. This is really unexpected too. I remember they stated that i will receive my result slip around 23rd of December. I was looking forward to that day and suddenly received it 13 days earlier!

Oh and yea. I passed!!!

Listening: 44/50
Dictation: 47/50
Oral: 44/50
Total: 220/250

Frankly speaking, i'm not sure if this result considered as good or not. From what i know, others seems to score almost full marks or somewhere around there..

Anyway, i'm still happy about it. I made it into Intermediate level~

Oh Yay! JLPT is over!!

I was really nervous while heading to SMU. Was super relieved when i spotted my classmates! I'm really really glad for that otherwise i will keep panicking because i'm alone And i just found out that there are around 10 people, including me, from my Japanese class who are taking JLPT N5. Indeed i'm surprised. All along, i thought only 5 people are taking it.

Overall, the papers are alright. Just worried that my grammar paper will waste all my efforts. As i was told last time about the new JLPT system - if you fail one section/paper, you fail overall. So yea.. Who will not worry after knowing that? lol.

Anyway, yesterday after my CCA's full comm meeting, had lunch with my juniors. Went to Liang Court's Kinokuniya after that. Bought CIAO, a manga magazine which features a chapter of numerous mangas.

I thought it might help me improve my Japanese since i'm too lazy to read magazines. Yay for Manga!! lol. Furthermore it's cheap!! The usual price is S$12.90 but i bought it at S$3!! Haha.

Should be studying for my JLPT N5 exam OR doing my assignments right now. However, i'm not in the mood to do any of those.. Right now, i only feel like sleeping. Seriously, i'm doomed!!!

It's weird.. School is making me feel lethargic even though i didn't do much there. Only travel for about 45minutes - 1hour to school and spend the rest of the day using my lappy (as in doing in-class exercises/assignment) and listening to music.

Anyway. It's DECEMBER!! Hope everyone will have a great time during this month! Christmas is getting nearer. My family is preparing for our own Christmas celebration. I'm so looking forward to it!!

Went to my niece's 1 year old birthday celebration yesterday. After the celebration, my uncle send my siblings and i home. On our way home, we were listening to Ocean Ou's songs. On my birthday - 08 November, it's a sushi day! lol. Or rather, the whole 3 days of celebration was Japanese Cuisine day. Haha.

Really glad that for this term, my lesson ends at 11am on Monday~ Sweet! So after my lesson, went to sakae sushi for lunch buffet with my poly clique. It's not my first time eating there but it's my first time having buffet there. The sushi are really yummy~ But i've learnt a lesson. Don't eat too much inari sushi. It made me feel sick..

At around 5pm+, meet up with angie, huishan and shuhui and we went to suki sushi for dinner buffet (yes, buffet again) I don't mind eating there but this time round, i didn't eat much. My lunch wasn't completely digested so i'm still quite full lol. Huiting joined us after dinner and we head over to the void deck at shuhui's house to play monopoly and dai di (aka Big Two)~ Didn't stay until very late though.. Still need to do some school work

Finally i'm going to do a proper post~

So on the 6th of November, it was my last day of school at JCS. Gave kai sensei a box of chocolates and a handmade card. It's really sad. I love my teacher and class a lot Though it's almost impossible, i still hope that we'll still be in the same class next year

Anyway, after my lesson, meet up with Charissa. We went to take purikura again!! Due to the lack of time, i need to rush to Central - Clarke Quay to meet my family. I didn't even have the time to buy my taiyaki at Illuma Anyway, we dined at Waraku. After that headed back home.

I thought there won't be any celebration that day; only a birthday in-advanced meal. However, my family surprised me with a birthday cake! Just want to blog before i go to bed.

School.. Felt pretty weird - new classmates and missing people from clique. I'll probably get used to it sooner or later though. Just that, yeefong said something during lunch. She said something like that, "In the past, during break time, we always have trouble finding available seats (due to the number of people in our group). And now, it's easy because it's just the two of us.. " True.. When i think about it, i felt rather lonely..

Last thursday, meet up with luting, huishan and huiyu for lunch at Shabu shi - Steamboat Buffet. It's really nice to hang out with them again

After lunch, we went to play pool for awhile. Well, it's more like they play instead. I wasn't interested in playing pool so i just watched them play. Furthermore, i like to observe. Probably a habit of mine. Haha. After that, me and huishan head to Compass Point.

Borrowed a pretty interesting book from the library. It's "You know you've been in Japan too long..."

After that we went to Far East Plaza for shopping. Didn't get anything for myself though.. *note to self: i need shop for clothes!!* At 7plus ain head back home while the rest of us had our dinner at Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe I wasn't very hungry so i only had mango pudding and honey green tea. Last week was tiring. My 3 days part-time job as Daiso stock-take staff started and i worked from 10pm - 7am for 3 consecutive days.

Well, i'm not a very independent person. So on the first day, i really dread going to work since i'll be alone. Thankfully, in the end, a group of nice girls let me join them

Now that i think about it, despite complaining about how tiring it is, i kind of miss working as a stock-take staff. It's fun although a little stressful. lol.

Anyway last monday, before heading to work, meet up with my family for dinner. After that, they accompanied me all the way to IMM *touched* And i played gacha again! Got a different teddy bear this time round; it's in a red checkered blouse.

I still like the teddy bear in pink blouse more but this is adorable too.

When my part-time job officially ended, i'm very free again. So i re-paint my nails. They are not perfect but they are one of the nicest that i'd painted so far~

On saturday, meet up with charissa after Japanese lesson (as usual). Went to NBC to buy a new Hello Kitty organizer and also 2 pink pens. Spent a long time choosing the organizer. Just couldn't made up my mind

I also bought a Liese hairdye at Watson. It's Sweet Apricot - a new color.

Just dyed my hair yesterday with the help from my mommy. Well, this is the easiest way of dyeing hair but i can't do it alone. Told you that i'm not independent. Haha.

Hey!!♪

Just finished my homework for tomorrow's lesson and i'm taking a mini break now.

Ahh.. Didn't blog about recent happenings. Well, there's nothing much actually.

Last Sunday, i went to Waseda Shibuya High School for Seiransai (星蘭祭). Didn't take any photo because i didn't bring the camera along. Overall, the event is rather fun and i had quite a good impression this year. Well during the last attraction we went to, due to the long waiting time and hot weather, one of the students gave us a cup of drink to cool down. He even apologize for making us wait. Ain't they considerate? (^ - ^)

Alright. Shall skip the other boring days.

Yesterday went to watch My Darling is a Foreigner with charissa. In my opinion, the movie is nice. Inoue Mao is really cute!! Went for a little shopping after that. I finally bought a new pair of flats! Quite tired of wearing the same old pair of flats over and over again. I should really get another pair just in case. Oh and i also met shuhui, yeejoo, huiping and jiajun! It's really a coincidence eh. After that, i went for prep course *dread*.

As for today, it's same as usual - boring day. However, i received my result for this semester!! Woots. Super happy because i'd improved! Yay~~ Honestly, i wasn't worried about the result until last night (it's because i actually forgot about it). Haha.

Well, basically that was it. I should start writing my nikki already.

Hello

Wanted to blog on Wednesday but i kept procrastinating until now. Opps. My bad..

On tuesday, i went to Daiso after my prep course again. Gosh. This might become my weekly routine.. Shall stop going to Daiso for awhile now.

Anyway, this time round, i went there with things i want in mind. So i didn't stay there for long

Well, basically that's it. I guess my next trip to Daiso (doubt it will be soon though), i'll probably get some felts or cloths. I want to make ribbon for my new bag!!

Oh yah. I got two sugar bunnies from Macdonald Happy Meal~ They are super adorable~

It was kind of late when i found out about this. Hence i couldn't get the first two sugar bunnies. Oh well. It's alright. These two are cuter anyway. Hees.

A few days back, i received a package from dearest Irasema~

We have been exchanging letters for awhile now. It's really fun to communicate with each other using the old-fashion way - snail mail

So, Irasema was back from Sweden and she got me some gifts from there. Thank you so much You're so sweet~

A keychain plushie and a hello kitty lip balm - strawberry flavor.

I love them a lot The lip balm smells really sweet. It reminds me of strawberry flavored bubblegum. Yummy. And the keychain plushie is so cute~ Furthermore, it's in a pink jumpsuit

Hello~

The day before yesterday, meet up with Charissa for lunch at IMM I made her wait for me for around half an hour because i overslept.. I'm so sorry

After our lunch, we head to Daiso for my walk-in interview. Was a little nervous because i thought it was an interview. However, it turns out to be just filling in forms Geez. The email they sent is so misleading. Then again, i'm totally alright with it. Haha! Went to look for Charissa after that and we shopped in Daiso for hours! We didn't buy much stuff though.

Before we leave, we went to play the gachapon. I got a cute teddy bear charm. Love it! It's in pink too

Went for prep course after that. You should see my sensei's reaction when she saw me. She was really shocked to see me in short hair. Haha. She is so cute~

Today, after the exam, i went to my "hometown" - Ubi. Gosh. I miss the place a lot It will be great if i still stayed in contact with my childhood friends. A few years after my family moved to Sengkang, we hardly contact each other already

Anyway, back to topic. I went there for a haircut. I have been wanting to cut my hair for months and finally this is it!! My long hair is gone~

It might not be obvious but i had a bob hair cut

Haha. I have bangs now! I might change it back to side-parting in the future. I don't know. I always did that when i have bangs lol. Well, will see how~

Well, have this ever happen to you before?

Oh and sorry that i haven't been blogging lately. Nothing interesting to talk about since i didn't went out often. Even if i'm out, it's most likely that i'm attending prep course for JLPT N5 or my normal Japanese lesson. My life has become so dull. LOL. Joking~ Surprisingly, i'm alright with this lifestyle though i know that it's a pretty unhealthy one.

Anyway, talk about prep course.. N5 is really tough (for me). I really need to force myself to study. But one thing that i'm really glad is that the teacher is my current Japanese class teacher. At least i won't get confused with the different teaching style

Okie. I should find something else to do or drag myself to bed. lol.

夏祭り２０１０ + mini adventure walk

The day before was Natsu Matsuri (Summer Festival). It was totally awesome! I really enjoyed myself a lot. Going there with your friends are still the best The only regret i had was that i didn't went for Bon Odori. Nevermind. There's still next year! Really can't wait~

Went there with huiting. As expected, there are lots of people. Many wore their yukata and some are really cute! *envy* So meet up with the guys (vincent, mervyn, jiajun and mervin) inside the school for awhile before going separate ways. Walked around, met some JCG people, and bought some stuff. Well majority of the time, we were just standing around chit chatting. This time round, i didn't watch much of the performance though. Wasn't quite into the performances at that time.

And as stated, there's also a mini adventure walk lol. After the event, we headed home with the guys. As most people are leaving at the same time, we decided to go to the previous bus stop. So we walked and walked. Someone asked mervin to check the map from his phone and we found out that we were at P.I.E. *shocked!* I was thinking, "omg. i don't want to walk all the way home.." Luckily, we walked a little further and found a flight of stairs which leads to the HDB flats. Yes. That was when i was relieved.

Probably a great experience but at that time while walking halfway, i got really scared, since it's during the 7th lunar month (in chinese, it's the ghost month). Anyway, to conclude, this year's Natsu Matsuri is surely a memorable one indeed
